About the profession

The Digital Communication Assistant – Visuals, Video & Community Management supports companies, organizations, brands, projects and entrepreneurs in building and managing their online presence. The role combines three core areas: professional visual creation, short-form video production and community management.

The training is based on professional practice, workplace simulations, concrete assignments and professional immersion. Learners spend the program producing, testing, correcting and improving work that reflects real workplace expectations.

How does the training work?

Week 1 focuses on the professional environment and career positioning: learners set up their digital workspace and the tools used for visual design, video editing, file management, social media and content planning. Months 1 and 2 focus on intensive practical production of visuals, videos and social media content. Month 3 combines professional projects, immersion, experience sharing, career positioning, practical examinations and portfolio presentations.

Registration fee: 25,000 XAF

Classes: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
Day classes: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Evening classes: 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

After the three months

At the end of the training, learners receive a training certificate. If they wish, AssistantPRO Academy can place them in a company for a two-month professional internship. This additional workplace experience allows eligible learners to continue towards the CQP – Professional Qualification Certificate examination.

Career pathway: 3 months of practical training → optional 2-month company internship → CQP examination.
